FEATS 2026
ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW…
What is FEATS?
An annual English-language One-Act play competition staged across 4 days. Amateur teams from across Europe compete to win prizes, and audiences can enjoy the result. Every evening 3 short plays (roughly 35-50 minutes long) are performed back-to-back. A Guild of Drama adjudicator assesses and marks each of them. During the day, visitors can enjoy a Fringe program at Theater Pepijn. The festival is located in a different European city each year - The Hague is hosting it in 2026!
When is FEATS?
FEATS will take place across four days, running from Friday 22 May and ending on the evening of Monday 25 May, 2026. As is traditional, the festival is again taking place on the Whitsun weekend.
Who are the AATG?
We are a member association and we stage plays and put on workshops for young and old. Our mission is to bring English-language theatre to The Hague and surrounding areas. We were founded in 1951, meaning that next year we will be celebrating our 75th birthday! And coincidentally, 2026 will also mark the 50 year anniversary of FEATS!
Can I get involved?
The AATG is always looking for talented volunteers! We pride ourselves in being open and inclusive, and we offer both on stage and behind-the-scenes roles. Check out our website where you’ll find many opportunities to participate, from proposing-a-play, to auditions, to a whole host of roles for FEATS itself.
FEATS Main Stage plays are by invitation only, but if you’re interested in participating in our Fringe Program, please contact our Fringe Manager.
Getting to The Hague
Depending on where you’re coming from, The Hague is relatively easy to get to. Airports Schiphol and Rotterdam are your best bet if you’re flying in, and rail connections are relatively straight-forward. If you’re planning to come by car, please make sure you arrange parking well in advance.
What about accomodation?
The AATG is compiling a list of hotels. We will provide this information in due course. Also - watch this space for news on preferential rates with hotels conveniently located in the city, close to the theatre locations. Don’t leave it too late to book!
What else can I do while I’m in The Hague?
The Hague is a fabulous city with lots to see and do. We will be coming up with suggestions for other places to visit and things to do while you are here. More soon…
