FEATS 2026
THE BASICS…
What is FEATS?
An annual English-language One-Act play competition staged across 4 days. Amateur teams from across Europe compete to win prizes, and audiences can enjoy the result. Every evening 3 short plays (roughly 35-50 minutes long) are performed back-to-back. A Guild of Drama adjudicator assesses and marks each of them. During the day, visitors can usually enjoy a Fringe program.
Tell me more!
The first-ever FEATS festival took place in Rotterdam in 1978, developing via the Benelux countries into an annual celebration of English-language theatre, now with participating groups from the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Switzerland, Denmark, Germany, Spain and Sweden.
When was FEATS 2026?
FEATS took place across four days, running from Friday 22 May and ending on the evening of Monday 25 May. As is traditional, the festival was again taking place on the Whitsun weekend.
Who are the AATG?
The AATG is short for the Amateur Anglophone Theatre Group. We are a member association and we stage plays and put on workshops for young and old. Our mission is to bring English-language theatre to The Hague and surrounding areas. We were founded in 1951, meaning that 2026 marks our 75th birthday! And coincidentally, 2026 was also the 50 year anniversary of FEATS!
